I’m here to give the highest recommendation for our wonderful nanny, Ophelia. She cared for our now almost 3 year old for a year-and-a-half of caring for our little boy before he moved to full-time day care and has also been a fixture on weekends for my twins who are six months old from the day we brought them home from the hospital. Before working for our family, Ophelia nannied for my sister and her first child, and has been cherished by our family for a long time. Ophelia is compassionate, professional, experienced, and confident. She has been an invaluable partner in guiding our children through each stage of their development. She has been a step ahead of us with handling feeding transitions, sleeping transitions, and mobility transitions. As new parents, we have felt so lucky to have Ophelia offer her recommendations, while managing to be completely respectful of our own parenting style. Our son adores Ophelia, he is always thrilled to see her, and even with the normal separation anxiety children get, on almost every day he blows me a kiss goodbye to happily spend the day with her as I go to work. She has exciting activities in mind, and is always taking him to the park, to play with his cousins, or the library. She has cultivated his sense of curiosity and play, while keeping him well-fed, safe, and clean. She is a safe driver, a great cook, and much better at folding baby clothes than I will ever be.
