I am a Special Education Teacher with an M. S. Ed in Special Education and Elementary Education. My experience is teaching children with moderate to severe autism in a 6:1:1 classroom setting. I have experience teaching students who are nonverbal and emerging verbal. I have had training in PECS, and feel more than comfortable working with a learner who uses augmentative and alternative communication. I have also tutored children who were English Language Learners, and learners with math and reading disabilities.
