About Paula

I am currently licensed and certified as an occupational therapy assistant. I have a healthcare provider CPR certification. I have been taking care of children since I started having nephews at the age of 13. I have been a nanny for infants and toddlers consistently for over 3 years and sporadically since my teen years. I have worked in a church nursery on Sundays. I adore children and I have raised one son of my own. My training as a clinician in occupational therapy includes expertise in nutrition, safety, development, training, fitness, education, cognitive function, behavioral skills, and general wellness of elders and children. I am very healthy, fit, and quick on my feet. My hobbies are hiking, yoga, and cooking/nutrition. I am flexible with hours, having very few commitments. I have my own car, and am very familiar with the Asheville area. I live alone and am very Covid 19 conscious, greatly limiting my exposure.
