About Quinn

I am an outgoing, warm and creative person. I've enjoy working with kids as they are joyful, inquisitive and unique! I love to help them develop new skills and witness them grow. I'm an empty-nester seeking a part-time role to share my skills and support a lovely young family. I have a Master's in Childhood Education and enjoy engaging with children of all ages- infancy through adolescence. I can develop a tailor-made curriculum for a school aged child, but I'm also good at read alouds, art projects, imaginary play or maintaining a nap and feeding schedule! I'm also a good cook and know the importance of a tidy home for busy parents. In college I was a regular tutor for a child in private school on the UES. Post graduation I taught first grade at Greene Hill School - Brooklyn. I went on to tutor children with learning deficits, and took a break to focus on raising my children. I spend my time on interior design projects, gardening but mostly spending quality time with my family.
