I have my master's degree in clinical psychology and 3 years of professional experience in private practices and hospitals caring for children and adolescents. My most recent experience with child care comes from nannying in 2023 to 2024 for 8 months with a family of two boys, 6 & 10 y/o, along with several babysitting shifts across the Chicagoland area. I am CPR/AED certified. I love engaging children in sports, creative arts, including dance and music, and time in nature. I was raised caring for children in a manner that reflects an appreciation for being in the moment and engagement in authentic and spontaneous play. I can also introduce your kids to Spanish! Personally, my self care comes from yoga, dancing, jiu jitsu, riding my bike, making music, rollerblading, the actors gymnasium, and time with friends.

Rachael is beyond wonderful and we cannot say enough about her ability with kids and in our situation, our son was about 8 months old when she began sitting for us on date nights and times when we needed support to offset hours our full time nanny could not be available. She goes above and beyond and brings an array of musical instruments for our son, there has never been an ounce of screen time while she is watching him, we never have to run home early and finally get to actually stay out on date nights as long as we plan to, and she supports us with last minute requests. Had we not had our nanny already prior to meeting her, we would have definitely considered hiring her full time, so I would definitely recommend her to any family looking for an educated and progressive nanny!
