About Rachel

I am a recent graduate of Penn State and will be attending graduate school in the fall. In high school, I graduated in the top 10% of my class. I took AP courses in biology, English, calculus, and Spanish. I am especially proficient in English/writing- I scored 790/800 on SAT Writing and 760/800 on SAT Verbal. I also have a great deal of knowledge in the sciences, specifically biology, anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. In college, I was a tutor as well as a Teaching Assistant for a Rehabilitation class. I also performed research and lab work for two different professors in the Psychology and Biology fields, respectively. In terms of working with younger children, I assisted in a 3rd grade classroom in high school and was employed at a daycare during my last semester of undergrad. I am patient, thorough, and clear with explanations. I feel comfortable instructing children/young adults of a multitude of grade levels. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
