Hi! My name is Rachel, and I am 21 years old. I have been a summer nanny for a few different families for six summers now. I am from the suburbs, but I am looking to live in Bloomington-Normal this summer. I am a special education major at Illinois State and will be a senior this fall; with that being said, I have plenty of experience working with students of all ages with and without disabilities. In the previous summer, I have part-time nannied and worked as a paraprofessional back home, in Naperville, in a self-contained special education classroom in summer school. As of now, that has not been cancelled and we have not heard that it won't take place, but with the current situation regarding COVID-19, I'm not sure that summer school will take place this year and thought beginning to look for other employment options would be smart. I have a passion for helping others and working with kids and have plenty of experience doing so.
