About Rachel

My name is Rachel. I am currently a social work student earning my Master's degree at California State University, Sacramento. I have two years of experience working as a Home Visitor with families and children where I provided parenting classes and activities for children and families to strengthen the bond within the family. I also have experience with being a preschool teacher's assistant where I would provide support to children and teachers in the classroom. Moreover, I have interned as a Social Work Investigator where I ensured the safety, health, and well-being of children who were placed in foster care homes. I am also a mother to a5-year-old son. I am currently looking for a summertime position while I am on summer break from school. I am CPR-certified and have extensive training in cultural humility, complex trauma, mental health, and more.
