About Rachel
I began tutoring students in high school in both math and English, and I continued assisting international students with proof-reading and correcting their PhD papers in graduate school. I have spent many years as a seasoned nanny for children of varying levels of abilities, exceptional abilities, and disabilities/limitations, providing tutoring to primarily children under the age of 12 in those settings, as well as facilitating and assisting with virtual schooling in pandemic, summer schooling in pandemic, additional educational engagement and progress with children in the home, and I have worked in professor/instructional roles at Gateway Tech. College, Wisconsin Lutheran College's Adult & Grad. Studies Dept., Bryant & Stratton College, as well as having served in other educational roles at Grand Canyon Univ. and Concordia Univ.-Mequon. I have also volunteered with children and built up programming for homework assistance in the inner-city of Milwaukee for over 15yrs.
