I have been working in Manhattan for 8 years, and have been fortunate enough to work with families where I've been able to watch the kids grow up and have helped with their learning and development. In addition to caring for the children -- playing, singing, crafts, outdoor time, etc -- I also enjoy cooking healthy and creative meals. I have culinary experience from my time in Jamaica. I know the UES and UWS neighborhoods very well. Prior to COVID, I researched classes for the children (both paid & free) and kept a schedule of all the neighborhood story times. I also set up a playgroup in the park to ensure the children were getting socialization. I am very careful when it comes to COVID and happy to discuss my precautions.
