Hello! My name is Becky F. I am originally from Kansas and graduated with a degree in secondary education and a degree in English from Tabor College in Kansas. I moved to Memphis in May 2015 to become an educator. For the past eight years I have taught English at both the middle and high school levels. I worked hard to continuously improve my curriculum and consistently help my students grow on the TCAP tests. I heavily incorporate vocabulary skills into my lesson plans. This means I have experience improving students vocabulary, reading comprehension, and their writing. I have experience working with students of a wide range of abilities, including the ESL population. I look forward to helping your student achieve their academic goals!
