About Rebecca

I have years of experience tutoring students from elementary school through college in subjects ranging from math and writing to english and sociology. I have years of additional experience as a teaching assistant at Northeastern University where I helped with curriculum development and provided 1-on-1 student support. In addition, I have experience as a youth basketball and futsal assistant coach, camp counselor, and babysitter for dozens of families. I am passionate about education and learning, and have a strong foundation in developmental and learning psychology that I use to ground my approach to teaching and tutoring. I am patient, kind, passionate, and flexible. I believe in the importance of multiple inputs for learning and the need for educators to adapt closely to student learning styles. I also believe strongly that learning can and should be fun and interactive, and incorporate games and dialogue wherever possible.
