Thank you for taking a look at my profile! I am a 35-year-old woman in Kennebunk Maine. I'm taking on limited part time tutoring hours as I transition from a 10+ year career in the non-profit sector to full time graduate studies in social work. I have high school and middle school teaching experience and experience working one on one with middle, high school and elementary students. I believe in building a relationship with each student and developing techniques that respect each student's unique learning styles and personal strengths. I am kind, compassionate, and believe in the power of critical thinking and creative expression. I would love to help your student with language arts, literature, writing and reading. I'm also experienced with resume editing, college essays, and job application prep as well as some standardized test preparation. Rebecca is amazing. She's punctual, professional, respects boundaries and rules, while ensuring safety She watched our children a few times, made meals, cleaned, took care of our pets, and has a very friendly, helpful, and compassionate demeanor. She's excellent at providing comfort and support as one of our little ones became upset while we were out. At the end of her visit, she provides feedback and an account of what occurred while we were out. I feel completely confident with leaving her in charge of anything.
