About Rebecca

I grew up on what was once a working poultry and dairy farm. I had three brothers, so between us had all kinds of animals. Dogs (all sizes), cats, chickens and hamsters to name a few. My brother even had a pet squirrel for a little while. Growing up in a big family where both parents worked full time, I learned early on that helping with the care of our animals and house chores were a must. I never seemed to mind them and having those responsibilities from a young age has made me into the person I am today. I currently have a 6-year-old short haired domestic cat named Freya, who is my love and just like me. She is independent but knows when attention and affection is needed. I can't imagine life without her. My daughter has a Maine coon cat which lived we me for a while during covid. My brother has a dog named Charlie. He is a chihuahua mix who I often watch when they travel. I can't remember ever not have animals in my life. And why would I want that!!
