About Rebecca

I am a certified Elementary teacher. I have taught PreK with 3 and 4-year-olds for three years, 3rd grade for 1 year, and 2nd grade for 1 year. I am not going to be teaching in a traditional classroom this year due to Covid. I am being very careful with Covid 19 precautions. I wear a mask whenever I am in public, and limit going out to essential trips. I am looking to work with a family that would also take appropriate safety precautions. I can provide direct instruction, or supplement remote learning activities. I actively engage with kids while providing supervision. I provide play based activities to develop skills at the appropriate level of challenge. I love to help kids extend their thinking while playing, as well as reinforce responsibility and independence at an age appropriate level.
