About Robin

I began taking care of children when I was 11. I was a nanny for a 3-month-old girl until she was 9 and I also took care of her mother who was ill and her grandparents as they aged. I have two daughters of my own and I am a natural caregiver who finds great joy in nurturing young ones and helping them discover and learn hands on. I enjoy being outside with children and letting them explore, taking them to story times at the library, taking them swimming when possible, and engaging them in play. I am very comfortable in the kitchen and love creating healthy meals and if appropriate having the children help can be very fun! I am fluent in Spanish and can incorporate it into my time with children so they soak it up at a young age. I've worked with children with autism in both the school and private setting for 10 years. I substitute teach in my daughter's former private school and in the public school system as well.
