About Rochelle

Hi, my name is Rochelle L. During the summer of 2020, I retired from my 37-year public elementary school teaching position where I specialized in teaching English, Math, and all grade-level content from K-5. Though I taught grades K-5 for the first half of my career, my school transitioned into a grades 3-5 building and I remain extremely familiar with all grade levels and standards. I experienced virtual teaching/learning when we went remote in March. I have worked successfully with special needs students. I've always been rated as a 'highly-effective' teacher in my district and have been loved by all my students. I love teaching and delving into various subjects with patience and understanding. I enjoy working with PreK students as well. My goal is to obtain private tutoring or homeschooling jobs where I can continue to teach and nurture students.
