About Rose

Hello parents and guardians (: My background involves being a Social Worker with county of SB, having my Sociology BA, and applied psychology Spanish and Portuguese minors from UCSB, and dog friendly. I use patience, kindness and empathy daily. I believe kindness is foundational. I work M-F as a social worker and looking to work here on weekends. I understand each family has their own rules and with my background, I'm able to come into each home with an open mind. I like working with kids because they keep me on my toes! There is never a dull moment- I'm open to a board game, video game if appropriate, or reading a bed time story (I'll even read in character voices). More recently, I have a young brother in law with autism and realized after work that he reminded me life is more than stress- it's hot wheels, slime, and re-enacting the video (even if we do it 100 times). Open to light housekeeping! In my spare time, I crochet, play with my dogs, or enjoy coffee.
