About Rubi

As a Teacher Assistant at Pelham Children's Center since Jan 2023, I support the learning and development of children aged 2 to 5 years old. I work with a team of qualified and passionate educators to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for the children. I also assist with the planning and implementation of curriculum activities, assessments, and evaluations. I am currently pursuing an Associate degree at SUNY Westchester Honors College, with a focus on psychology. I am interested in understanding how children grow, learn, and interact with their surroundings. I have a High School Diploma from New Rochelle High School, where I graduated in June 2022. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them discover their talents and passions. I believe that education is a powerful tool to empower children and prepare them for the future. I am eager to learn from my peers, mentors, and professors, and to contribute to the field of psychology and education.
