About Ruby

I'm a student at PSU, working on a BA with a major in Anthropology with an Indigenous emphasis. I also work part time on top of school, and I'm hoping to add nanny to that list! I've had over 3 years of childcare experience in many types of fields. I've been an assistant teacher at a daycare for a year and a half, a nanny for many families with ages ranging from newborn to 3rd graders, and a Montessori classroom assistant teacher for 6 months before I moved to Portland! CPR and first aid certified, as well as having past experiences working with allergies. Hoping to peruse a Montessori certification once I have completed my BA and strongly align with their values. My favorite ages to work with are toddlers and first graders (I'm really good at answering questions haha) but of course am excited for every new opportunity that comes my way!
