About Ruth

I have experience as a summer nanny for a 3-year-old, 4-year-old, and 18-month-old in 2021. I took care of transportation, lunches, and kept the children active and outside, minimizing screen time. I enjoyed trips to parks and playgrounds, bounce houses, and creating homemade crafts during my time with the children that summer. I then worked at a summer camp in 2022 where I helped write and implement curriculum for children ages 6-14. I gained experience with a wide range of ages that summer, and learned behavior management skills for when disagreements between children arose. I led groups of kids in extracurricular games as well as crafts and activities that helped build their literacy skills. I currently help with child care for a group at church and babysit for church families if needed. I also used to be CPR certified and First-Aid certified but can retake the class to renew my certifications.
