About Salamarie

Since the age of 16, I have been excellent with working with children. I began as just babysitting the children in my very large family and later was able to land real paying jobs. My first paying job, in 2008 was with middle school students during a summer intensive program and during that same school year, I volunteered weekly at a preschool. I also spent the summer of 2009 working at the a school in Cambridge where I was also hired by a few parents to babysit outside of the summer program. I have had the chance to work children of all ages and have also tried to make an effort to volunteer with children every year while attending school. During my four years of high school I consistantly spent time at the Women's shelter in New Hampshire to play with the children. It rewarding to know that I can make a difference in a child's life just by spending time with them. Every child has different experiences but they all need the same amount of care, love and attention.
