About Sam

I previously worked as a nanny during the pandemic with two school-age children. My duties included helping them with their schoolwork through the new remote-learning process, preparing nutritious meals, and keeping them on task with assignments. I also supervised their free play with other children and helped shuttle them to activities and on weekly outings. In addition to standard day care tasks and academic support, I have experience with and am comfortable helping children navigate conflicts and rivalries. I try to modify my approach to account for each child's developmental stage and emotional needs. I am committed to providing quality care consistent with the priorities and goals of the parents.
