I'm a 49 yo mother to a 7 yo autistic son looking to make a little extra money. I love kids (especially my own) and am fantastic with other peoples'. My son is non-verbal, so I especially love talking to kids and hearing what they think and how they think. As the mother of a special needs child, and as an "older" mom, I have a lot of patience and gratitude for spending time with kids. I enjoy taking them to the park, playing board games, watching movies, playing pretend, etc. I have a clean background check. I'm an Executive Assistant by trade, but currently out of work and looking for a new job. I have a master's in history from Roosevelt University and can definitely help kids with their homework. I have babysat since I was 13 years old (so young now, I realize!) and have helped out with friends' kids over the years. My utmost goal is your comfort in knowing your kids are in a safe place with me while you are out.
