I have 5 1/2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities providing direct support care (washing, bathing, meal prep, feeding, etc.). Additionally, I spent time volunteering at nursing homes. As a young child, I enjoyed going to visit my elderly great grandparents, I think because of how they were slowed down physically by their aging bodies to really pay attention to me & the other important things in life.
