About Sam

I like working with kids because no day is the same! While filled with a schedule and routine each day brings teachable moments that you can't always plan for. I'm looking for a job that has flexibility and strong communication. I started working with kids when I was younger in daycare settings. I have also worked in kids club programs, previously as a nanny, school age kids as a paraprofessional and as a substitute teacher in my school district. I am also a mom of three kids and spent many years as a stay at home mom. In my spare time, I like to go shopping, read, play volleyball, and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is I am patient. My skills include problems solving/redirection-I am good at dealing with kids big emotions and helping them (and me) understand where feelings are coming from. I am very creative and love trying new things to make learning more fun. I am trustworthy, and love kids-your child is safe and loved while in my care.
