Like many, I spent my teenage years babysitting, and my interest in working with kids was only furthered by experiences at a sleep-away camp and then nannying for several families. This spring, I began working as a teaching assistant at a local Montessori. In following these pursuits I have solidified my dream of pursuing a career in pediatric neuropsychology. I intend to work with children to help them access the best way that they can learn. Until I can achieve this goal, I plan to teach. When working with kids, my greatest priority is engagement. I enjoy miscellaneous games, crafting, time outside, and whatever other ideas folks may have. I aim for genuine and productive interaction. Sarah took care of my five-year-old son all day for two days when I had a gap in childcare. She was great with my son: creative, energetic, helpful, and had him giggling all day, which I could hear from my home office :). She also picked up our schedule and followed our instructions to a T. She has a perfect disposition for taking care of children and is very responsible as well. She also made sure my son cleaned up after himself so that we weren't left with a mess at the end of the day. My son loved her and I will definitely be using her again. Highly recommend!!!
