About Seija

Hello families! My name is Seija , and I am a second year at Loyola Marymount University. I have held various jobs in child care for most of my working years, including babysitting, nannying, tutoring, and summer camp counseling. In high school, I held a 2 year long position caring and tutoring for a 13-year-old with epilepsy, anxiety, and learning disorders- qualifying me in providing attentive academic, medicinal, and emotional support for children. My summers consist of working at Catalina Sea Camp, counseling kids in one-week and two-week overnight programs. At camp I am responsible for the wellbeing of up to 10 children at a time, and in gaining that position I became lifeguard, first aid, CPR, oxygen, and AED certified through American Red Cross. Aside from my experience, I would describe myself as compassionate, respectful, and responsible. I bring fun and comforting energy, and appreciate your consideration!
