About Serena

I am a 21-year-old college student studying biohealth sciences and psychology at OSU. I am the oldest daughter of six children, my youngest sibling being 3 years old. In 2020, I babysat my 8-month-old brother for 1 year and 6 months. Both of my parents were essential workers, meaning that I was babysitting my brother alone everyday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. I fed, bathed, and entertained my brother while cleaning, studying, and watching my 2 other brothers. Before becoming my brother's babysitter, I worked at a preschool where I would help set up lunch time and recess activities, while also helping the children settle down during naptime. I was also a student leader at the NW Outdoor School, so I am also comfortable with taking care of children overnight. I am very comfortable taking care of children aged 8 months - 13 years old, as well as taking care of up to 3 children at once. My First Aid/CPR certification is expired, but I am happy to renew it.
