Hello, my name is Serena and I've taken care of children for as long as I can remember. I'm the eldest sister of seven; I helped my single mother raise my siblings even as I was still a child, going so far as to changing diapers and preparing meals for my brothers and sisters. I've since become a career nanny, working with wonderful families since 2020. I'm CPR/AED and basic first aid certified. I am patient, punctual, and organized by nature. I came to understand my instinct to nurture children through the formative years with my family, and that trait has blossomed into my greatest gift in this profession. The child's well-being and development is my ultimate priority, and I seek to work with a family who yearns to help cultivate their child's spirit each day, as I do. Serena cared for my two kids for 2.5 years! Started when my kids were 2y (daughter) and 6 months(son). My son had infant food allergies and required a lot of attention to detail on when he ate, what he ate. Serena handled it all amazingly with such attention to detail and a lot open communication!! Her ability to absorb instructions was on point and she would flex with agility as he grew (and finally grew out of the infant allergies). As my daughter started to go to part time preschool, Serena started helping with school pick up. We trusted her to drive our kids- both in her car and our own family car. She’s been very conscious about what snacks are provided, ensuring they are getting fruits & veg. We departed only because of school-- kindergarten and more preschool hours. The season of full-time care ended and we're grateful Serena was the one to care for our kids.
