About Shaina

I like working with kids because they have so much love and light that it's contagious. I enjoy watching their development as they begin to discover who they are. I am the oldest of 7 siblings and had always been the second mother of the family. I started babysitting for families in my church when I was 14 and would nanny in the summers starting at 16. My previous job was a home manager at a treatment center for troubled youths. My team and I worked on effectively coaching our children in self reliance and coping skills so they could trust themselves enough to break bad habits and begin to thrive. I am in search of a job now, for the last 3 months teaching children English, ages 5-10. I am currently at student and my hobbies include reading, painting, skiing, hiking, baking, and hanging out with friends. My hope for the job is to assist your children in finding the joys of being a kid, celebrating their successes and encouraging their dreams.
