About Shannon

I am currently a stay at home mom to two girls, 3 years old and 6 months old. Before having my daughters, I worked for 10 years as a teacher in the Gahanna schools. In college, I spent 4 years working in daycares and nannying. I have also worked as a full time nanny to my nieces after having my daughters. I have a B. A in early childhood and special education and a Masters in curriculum and instruction. Needless to say, I have a lot of experience caring for children! :) I am hoping to open my home up to one child that needs part time care. I would prefer a toddler aged child to promote socialization for my 3-year-old daughter. I have worked hard to create a loving, caring, respectful and nourishing home for my daughters and would love to care for your child too. In addition to basic care, I love to provide educational experiences, crafts, outdoor play, music and STEAM and sensory based exploration. I'd like to find a long term family to support and grow with!
