About Shannon

I have worked in education and child care for many years. I was an elementary school teacher, both as a classroom teacher and special educator, for 8 years. Previous to that career, I worked at a summer camp for children ages 3-5 and I have babysat many children of all different ages. I have a passion for children and love watching them grow and thrive. I am currently a stay-at-home mom for my 5-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl. I am currently working with two families who drop off their sweet children at my house a couple of days a week. I am looking to grow our little family! I offer a supportive nurturing environment to help your child thrive. I treat all children at my house as if they are my own children! This situation will give your child an opportunity to have some socialization, but in a very contained way that is not overwhelming. I have multiple glowing references from families in which I have done this unique situation with if you ask! I am fully vaccinated and boosted.
