Sha’Quetta has been employed full time as caretaker of my daughter from September, 2022 through September 2023. She began working with us when my daughter was 3 months old. Sha’Quetta approaches childcare as an educator and has infused our daughter’s daily routine with age-appropriate, engaging, educational, enriching activities. She is observant of childrens’ progress and growth, and finds opportunities for learning in pretty much everything they do together. Our daughter has benefitted from the routine that Quetta established for her from the very beginning, which has included much outdoor exploration time, reading, activities that develop fine and gross motor skills, singing, making music and dancing. When our daughter began physical therapy for torticollis, she participated in the sessions and supported us by implementing the recommended exercises throughout the day. It is clear that Quetta shares in our joy at watching our daughter learn and grow, and I’m sure that she brings this attitude to all of her interactions with children. I believe that any child or children will thrive and grow under Sha’Quetta’s care, and the next family with whom she works will be lucky to know her.
