About Shari

I consider myself to be a very caring, compassionate and dependable person. I worked for The City of Virginia Beach for 9 years taking care of adults with special needs. I have experience working with a wide variety of disabilities including all levels of autism, down syndrome, fragile x, wheelchair and those with more complex disabilities. I've cared for g-tubes, colostomy bags and adult personal garments. Iv had a PT job closely working with a family who's daughter has autism for 7 years. In Feb. 2017 I began working with a family caring for their 9 mo old son. We played at home, went into the community, attended appointments and visited parks, I love kids! I picked up the house and did his laundry when he napped. I am an animal lover and help run an active lost and found pets group.
