I have 10+ years of experience working with middle school, high school, and college age students, including a background tutoring and teaching. With a Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), I have a passion for helping students learn and succeed! I am patient and caring, and I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds. I tutored remotely through Los Angeles Unified School District's Step Up Tutoring program. Prior to that, I did private tutoring and also tutored San Francisco Unified School District students individually and in small groups. My college-level experience includes adjunct teaching at UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz, working as academic support staff at Stanford University, and working with students as library staff at Loyola Marymount University and California Institute of the Arts.
