About Sharon

I have a Bachelors in Elementary/Special Education. Currently in grad school for curriculum design and a concentration in ESOL. I have experience working with children for over 10 years. Chicago, IL is where I call home, and teach in Chicago Public Schools specializing in Middle School Math. I have taught in many different settings as a General Education teacher to a resource Special Education and full inclusion support from grades k-8. I am a tutor already here in Chicago, but Rochester, NY is our home for the summer. Outside of tutoring and teaching I also help to develop curriculum for Northwestern University's online program. Outside of teaching I have twin toddlers who love to keep me busy! I love to be outdoors, and recently found a passion for running. I also was a Summer Camp Counselor for Pittsford Recreation Center. I am a fun loving person, but also somebody who prides myself on professionalism I look forward to working with you!
