About Shauna

As a caregiver, I believe in regular communication with parents is essential, and I am willing to provide regular updates on their child's day. Whether it's through verbal communication at pickup, text messages, or phone calls, I am willing to adapt to the parents or guardians preferred method of communication. Regarding household rules, I prefer to follow the parents' lead to maintain consistency for the child. Playtime is vital for children's development. I actively participate in various activities, encouraging creativity and self-expression. My educational background and coaching experience has further enhanced my ability to provide a safe environment where I can help children to engage with a plethora of interests and develop their creativity and sense of self through play. As a coach, as a substitute, and as a babysitter, I have found that when adults express interest themselves, children flourish in those interests. I am comfortable caring for three children at a time.
