About Shawna

Hi, I'm Shawna, a 57 yr. old female married for 37 yrs. with 2 boys ages 23 and 27. They tell me I'm not going to get to be a grandmother anytime soon so I would love to care for your children. My number 1 goal is to keep your child safe while having fun. Even after over 20 yrs. of teaching/sitting(mostly 4 years and under, 7-10 at a time by myself), I can't imagine doing anything else. Because of my work at private schools, I had to have 24 hours of childcare training every year, CPR and First Aid training every 2 yrs. and I had to be fingerprinted twice and have multiple background checks. I have 2 letters of recommendations, but I can get more. I dress modestly, I don't yell or use bad language, I'm always happy and I would never bring anyone to your home or be on my phone while attending to your children. I will always be early. I don't do screen time unless you want me to. I was born and raised on a dairy farm so I'm good with animals. Thank you for your time.
