About Shelby

Let me tell you a little bit about my past experience! I am an end-of-life doula, caregiver, Reiki II and massage practitioner, and apprentice funeral director. In addition to my 15 years experience as a caregiver and Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), I have also worked in human services as a Support and Services Coordinator. In this role, I dedicated myself to assisting seniors and individuals living with disabilities by facilitating advanced care planning. In 2023, I completed the 111-hour Village Deathcare Citizen course and in May of 2024, I became a graduate of the University of Vermont End-Of-Life Professional Program. I'm currently working towards completing my Funeral Director certificate at the Community College of Vermont and have recently stepped into a role as an apprentice with a local funeral director.
