About Shelby

Hi! I'm Shelby. I'm a compassionate 24-year-old who lives in Northampton with two cats. I don't smoke or drink. I have a reliable car and my driving record is clean (I can bring a copy). My strengths include empathy, active listening, and thinking on my feet. I love arts and crafts and I grew up as a theater kid, so I also love singing, dancing, and playing the ukulele. I love pets (experience with cats and dogs) and don't mind doing housework, tutoring, cooking, or running errands. My previous experience -Taught K-5th grade reading intervention for three consecutive summers (In this time, won the leadership award) -Graduated from Smith College in 2023 with a degree in Psychology and Buddhist Studies -Worked in a lab for trauma-informed practices and interventions -Briefly worked at DCF, so I have an understanding of child safety and safe play -Informal babysitting for my step-brother, step-cousins, and their friends
