My name is Sherry. I began working with the elderly when I was laid off in 2009 from electronics. I realized how much I enjoyed being with them and helping them accomplish all they wanted to do. I go with them to doctors apt and talk to health care professionals and family members regarding their health conditions. I find out what medications they are taking and make sure that everything is always taken on time. I do their laundry and make sure their rooms are kept clean and neat. I take blood pressures and do their blood count if they are diabetic. We go out to lunch or to the park or wherever they want to go. I try to do the best I can to make them happy during the time I am there.

We had Sherry helping care for my dear father for the last almost 3 years, up until his recent death. She was like a part of the family. She was very dependable and flexible. My father needed care with meals, pill taking and general companionship. Sherry helped to pen letters, helped my father with various word puzzles, and out for a daily short walk. She cooked his breakfast and lunch and always left everything spotless. I highly recommend Sherry as a caregiver, she is missed in our home and I'm so grateful for the genuine care she provided my father in his last few years.
