About Shirley

I am an outgoing and responsible individual and can deal with emergencies in an appropriate manner. I love to do just about anything with kids; from LEGOS to tea parties, to taking them to the park, arts and crafts, baking, and anything else a young child takes interest in. I am big about routine because I feel that it makes children feel safe and their days go smoother. I am very easy going and have a great amount of patience but, I do feel that there has to be boundaries and rules while working with children. It is also my opinion that children need a lot of time participating in different activities and environments such as playing outside, playing make-believe, etc. These things help them to grow mentally, artistically and socially.
