About Sierra

Hello! I just moved to the Boulder area and can't wait to find a new family to work with! I have a history in montessori education and would love to be able to continue that approach in my nannying positions. I strive to instill independence in the children I work with, as well as encourage and promote healthy ways to regulate emotions. I also have experience working with disabled / special needs children and adults. I have a wide variety of care skills and am willing to expand my knowledge to meet your needs! I also like to promote independence as a caregiver by implementing a "power of choice" care style. Here are some facts about me : I like working with kids because they shape the future of our world. Kids have a unique and meaningful perspective on their environment and I love being able to contribute to their ever growing awareness of the world around them. I've been babysitting since I was 14, but for the past year I have been a teachers assistant at a montessori school.
