About Silvia

Hi! My name is Silvia. I am a first time mom to a beautiful and smart 1-year-old baby girl. Prior to giving birth to her, I worked at a daycare for 4 years as a lead teacher in a toddler program. My duties included, but were not limited to, preparing snack for the children, changing diapers, organizing the classroom to create a child friendly environment, creating documentation boards to display different activities, etc. However, because I was a lead teacher, I had other duties that included creating curriculum for the classroom, attending parent meetings, observing and evaluating children, and mentoring new teachers. I am fully vaccinated and first aid and CPR certified. I am also certified by the ECDA (Early Childhood Development Agency) which allowed me to hold the position of a lead teacher at the daycare I previously worked in.
