About Simone

I put my heart into everything I do. This summer I worked for Carousel Connections at Brandyweine Senior Living as a job coach for teenagers and young adults with special needs volunteering. I just moved back to the Windy City after being in Philadelphia. I graduated from Monmouth College with a B. A. in history and kinesiology. At Monmouth, I was a varsity swimmer. This past school year, I worked at Greene Friends School as a 3rd Grade Assistant Teacher. Before working at GSFS, I was a support aide in the 1st-6th grade classrooms at Friends School Haverford. Prior to this, I was a fellow with Repair the World, and served 200 hours per month with CHOP's Homeless Health Initiative, Play works Philadelphia, and Boys and Girls Club. I worked at Camp Havaha in PA for 8 summers as overnight counselor, swim teacher, and waterfront director. During my free time I swim with the Philadelphia Fins, ride my bike, play the harmonica. I am lifeguard & CPR certified through the American Red Cross.
