About Simone

Hi, my name is Simone! I recently graduated from the University of Maryland and am starting law school in the fall. I have loved working with kids my entire life. My favorite age group is toddlers/preschoolers, but I have experience with kids of all ages. I am looking for summer nannying or babysitting opportunities, as well as part-time opportunities during the school year. I have 6 years of experience working with kids as a camp counselor and babysitter, including children with special needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have my own car. My focus is to provide a safe, routine-focused, and supportive space for your child where they will be able to learn and grow. I love crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and spending time outdoors. I am firm but kind and I approach childcare with empathy, patience, and respect. In my personal time, I enjoy trying new recipes, playing piano, reading, playing chess, and sewing. I look forward to meeting you!
