About Skyler

I was a camp counselor for several years and had a blast, I thought working with kids was my dream until I started volunteering with dogs and realized they're basically just furry four legged kids but even better! Now I consider myself a doggie camp counselor and it's the most fun job in the world! Right now I volunteer at the Humane Society of Sonoma County as a dog walker. My supervisors constantly teach me new tips and techniques for working with and providing excellent care to dogs. I take pride in my commitment and focus when sitting and will give your baby the attention they deserve. Working with shelter dogs has taught me how to handle stressful situations with dogs who don't always have the best behaviors. I only use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience to cue dog's behaviors.
