About Sonya

Hello, my name is Sonya. I'm a student at North Seattle College working towards an AAS in ECE, as well as an experienced Assistant Teacher. I decided to further my knowledge in ECE and really discovered my passion for working with children during my 12-week training program at Tomorrow's Hope (a respected Daycare in Everett), where I was employed before entering maternity leave. During this program I received a certification in Early Childhood Development and gained a certificate in CPR/First Aid & AED for Adults & Infants. I'm really looking forward to applying all of these skills and my knowledge of child-led learning to provide a developmentally age-appropriate and engaging experience for your family! Some of my favorite activities to do with children are: reading to them, building structures, engaging in sensory play, singing silly songs, enjoying the sun and nature. Part-time is preferred.
