About Sophie

Hello! I'm Sophie, and am excited about the opportunity to work with and support your family. I earned my degree in Sociology and Applied Psychology with high honors from UC Santa Barbara in 2022 and have over a decade of caregiving experience. Some of my roles include babysitting newborns to teenagers, working in church nurseries and summer camps, and being employed by two reputable in-home care agencies; San Felipe Supportive Living and Brighter Care, where I worked with children and adults with special needs, ensuring their unique and individual needs were met with care and respect. My caregiving approach is focused on patience, compassion, inclusion, creativity and fun! I love to plan outdoor activities and spend as much time outside as possible. The families I have worked with would describe me as loyal, engaging, energetic and honest. I have a reliable car, am comfortable with all family pets and am open to house sitting as well.
